About Us

We are a community organisation that exists to raise money for Stockbridge community projects by screening quality contemporary films each month. Our Wednesday films are more mainstream drama / comedy titles. Our Friday films are more specialist art-house films including foreign language, documentary and ‘recorded live’ events. We aim to provide a shared social experience in the local community in a comfortable atmosphere and at a modest cost and try to encourage and support  the appreciation and understanding of film as an art form. Films are shown at Stockbridge Town Hall in Hampshire twice monthly throughout the year and we also present occasional special events. The hall has 85 comfortable seats with clear views of our large 4m x 3m screen with stereo sound and a hearing induction loop system installed. The hall is upstairs but there is a lift available for those who need it. We can also accommodate people with specific needs e.g. wheelchair access. Doors open 30 minutes before the start time and ice cream tubs, wine and beer are on sale at every screening
